Meet The Founder
Timothy C. Ural, Founder and CEO
Tim Ural is a fintech and payments leader with more than two decades of experience helping organizations design, launch, and scale innovative financial solutions.
Prior to founding Point Monarch, Tim held senior leadership roles at Visa, where he served as Vice President of Global Client Management and Commercial Products. In this role, he led strategic initiatives across global accounts, driving growth through new payment products, partnership strategies, and data-driven commercial solutions.
Throughout his career, Tim has developed deep expertise across global payments, fintech innovation, and B2B operating models. His work has helped organizations deliver next-generation capabilities including virtual payments, mobile payments, analytics platforms, and digital financial infrastructure across industries such as travel, insurance, and healthcare.
Earlier in his career, Tim held roles with IBM, Morgan Stanley, Oracle, and Salesforce, where he contributed to product development, financial systems innovation, and emerging e-commerce platforms.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Eckerd College and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida. He has also pursued graduate studies at Columbia Business School and completed the INSEAD Fair Process Leadership program.
To stay at the forefront of technology and business transformation, Tim recently completed AI Leadership coursework at Stanford University. He also participated in the Harvard Business Review Strategy Summit 2026 hosted by Harvard Business School, focused on building transformation playbooks for the AI era.
